With over 10 years experience in swimming pool maintenance, we provide excellent discreet professional services to commercial and residential swimming pool owners.
The importance of swimming pool maintenance
Swimming pool water must be maintained with very low levels of bacteria and viruses to prevent the spread of diseases and pathogens between users. A rule of thumb is that the water should be sufficiently clear to permit the main drain to be clearly visible from the pool deck at all distances up to ten meters (eleven yards) in a horizontal direction from the projection of the drain on the pool surface. This however, is merely to be considered a negative indicator, not a guarantee that the pool water is properly sanitized. Swimming pool water can still be dangerously contaminated with microscopic organisms, even though it looks clear.
Only pools and spas that contain filtrated and disinfected water can be considered safe places to swim. A poor maintenance of the pool may lead to low levels of disinfectants and clogged filters that may place swimmers at risk for diseases and infections.
Our services and products include but are not limited to:
Pool cleaning & maintenance Services
Our technicians are trained to follow specific guidelines at each service to ensure your pool is always crystal clear and in proper working order. Each pool maintenance visit includes chemical analysis of water and correct ph-cl, pool netting, pool vacuuming, pool walls and floor brushing, filter cleaning, blow off the pool deck, clean around the pool equipment and check all mechanical systems to ensure they are in proper working order.
We recommend a minimum of 2 visits per week.
During each visit we perform the following on your pool:
Water Analysis
Testing the water in the pool is essential to maintaining water that is crystal clear, safe to use and algae free.
Chlorine, used to kill bacteria.
Algaecide to prevent plant spores from turning the water green.
PH plus for increasing the water alkalinity and PH minus for decreasing it.
Flocculent; pool flocculant is a chemical that helps to remove small particles from pool water. These particles can include dirt, debris, algae, and bacteria. Flocculants work by clumping these particles together so that they can be more easily removed from the water.
Pool netting
Pool netting—also known as skimming—removes debris floating on top of the water. Leaves and grass clippings are common targets for netting. Proactive netting can decrease your pool vacuuming efforts by intercepting debris before it sinks to the bottom. In turn, effective netting can prevent surface staining and algal growth and can preserve filtration equipment lifespan.
Empty skimmer baskets.
Pool brushing
Pool surface and walls brushing is part and parcel of any maintenance plan.
Why do we include pool surface and walls brushing to our clients?
Algae protection – Algae can turn pools green or even make them unsafe to swim in. Since algae thrive in aquatic environments (especially in warm climates), it’s crucial for pool owners to manage growth as proactively as possible. Brushing can eliminate spores before they’re even visible, preventing algal growth and maintaining water safety.
Surface protection and maintenance – When dirt, debris, and plant matter settle on the bottom of a pool, they can create staining or facilitate algae growth. Brushing the bottom and sides of a pool can prevent debris from sticking to the surface, ensuring a shiny appearance.
Pool vacuuming
During pool vacuuming, our technicians connect a removable hose and suction device to a pool’s built-in water return valve to clear sand, dirt, leaves, and other debris from the pool surface. Vacuuming is crucial to pool maintenance plans—when vacuuming, our pool service technicians take a detailed look beneath the surface, identifying issues before they escalate, including:
Surface stains
Cracks or holes
Mold growth
Broken lights, drains, and valves
Back washing, emptying of pump basket & rinsing of filters.
Backwashing consists of reversing the flow of water so that it enters from the bottom of the filter bed, lifts and rinses the bed, then exits through the top of the filter tank.
